RE: is it allowed?

That depends on the ROMs you refer to. Like the Copyrighted ROMS available on Internet freely.

The 3D models itself is a copyright of the respected Company, thus it is not kind of legal. And anything illegal, is not and will not be supported. But I m not sure about what you really want. Confused

RE: is it allowed?

altho i dont like how youve described the media you want it from.

do you mean like you want the character models from Final Fantasy etc?

or do you mean for PC games?

many PC games have freely distributed construction sets for designing your own items in the game or altering existing 3d models. maybe you could look in to that?

RE: is it allowed?

I think his asking is he allowed to ask for model extractors.

RE: is it allowed?

I don't see why not, it's just like the tools that allow you to extract sound, music etc from your games. Whether he then incorporates it into his own stuff is his problem, not ours.

DRM's sole purpose is to maximize revenues by minimizing your rights to be sold back to you.

RE: is it allowed?

If you want to ask for extracted models, then nope.. You gotta own the game, rip/extract contents in it for your own use.

So it would be illegal to ask for such models since the models are copyright material of the respected company.

This being the case, Its not going to be supported on the General Emulation Forums.

I hope I made it clear that illegal content is not at all allowed in General Emulation Forums as well as any other forums related to Emulation. (That is ASFAIK)
