RE: help...

Choose a keyboard plugin instead of a joypad/ contoller plugin.

RE: help...

Currently the joypad plugin doesn't work under 64-bit Vista as I had the same problem, hopefully this might be resolved in the next version of Dolphin.

Welcome to the forum by the way.Smile

Nevermind, pay no attention to my post. This is what happens when you are lacking sleep and spend most of your day browsing and posting in forums.Toungue

I accidentally got this thread mixed up with another Dolphin thread I read earlier on another forum. However it is a known issue the joypad plugin doesn't work on Vista 64 for 64-bit dolphin.

If you are using Vista-64 bit, theres no other choice than to use the keyboard plugin and a mapping software such as Joy2Key or Xpadder.

However the joypad plugin should work without a problem under another operating system such as XP or Vista 32-bit.

Can you provide us with your system specs, operating system x86/x64 you are using and the Dolphin version and build?

RE: help...

You mean Dolphin 1.03.2 right? There is no version 1.08 as of yet, it's not even known what the next version will be.

Have you updated DirectX, what operating system are you using XP or Vista? Additionally what type of controller are you using, perhaps it might not work with Dolphin.

If you still can't get it to work regardless of what you try, use the keyboard plugin for dolphin and map the keys with Xpadder or Joy2Key as that might be the only option if all else fails.Wink
