genesis emu for ps3

i know you can play nes and snes emus on yellowdog linux on the ps3,but does anyone know of a good genesis emu for linux that would run on the ps3.
any help is appreciated.Smile

you could try some of the emulators out there built for linux, but im not sure what would and wouldnt work. As far as im aware, homebrew on the ps3 isnt actually possible yet. They have only recently discovered an exploit in the firmware which could be used to run homebrew, but there's no guarentee

Well, that is one way.

I did read somewhere that it is possible to install the debug 2.4 firmware on a retail unit. Also, I believe the firmware was posted.

This would probably help since the debug fw has many things disabled, like the in-game music patenting and being able to launch applications through the SD reader.
