RE: final fantasy 7 on ps3

I don't think there will be. There were rumors of a FF7 remake for the PS3 but I think those were squashed and denied by SquareWink

Original FF7 FTW. The PS one you know. PC version sucks with that crappy sound.

RE: final fantasy 7 on ps3

I know this is off-topic, but how can people actually stand playing RPG's? I tried playing one once, including one of the Final Fantasy Games on PSX and couldn't stand it, got bored right away.

I like actually participating in a battle myself and doing the button-mashing to defeat an opponent, not selecting an attack from a list while the computer carries out the actual attackWink

Nerds like me like it. Toungue It's not all boring, it's just slow as a standard strategy game. Plus if the game's plot is interesting, you'll be playing to know what's the end of the history. Smile

RE: final fantasy 7 on ps3

This all started from a PS3 Tech demo of the opening scene of FFVII, I think they more than likely will have a re-release of the PS1 FF's on the PS3 (Like 1-6 were re-released on the PS1), Will have to wait and see but there is no offical word, so theres no real point wondering.

no. it was just a tech demo. they did the same thing for FFVI on the N64 a while back, everyone thought they were remaking it but it turned out to be just a demonstration of the N64s power.

This is my signature. It would be flashy and bigger like giant fake tits on a camel but it appears these communist hippies that run General Emu are immune to my powers. If you want to see it that bad, which I'm sure most of you do (if you don't you must be gay), head over to Emuforums.com to experience its unmatched awesomeness.

There is a tool called FF7Music by Ficedula that allows you to import an MP3 soundtrack into the game. However, set-up is tedious, if you can get it working at all.

And I can also back-up, with proof, that there will be no remake. Square officially said that it was only a tech demo and they had NO plans whatsoever for a remake.
