For me its filter all the way.
Only when i used to play on tv-out no filter looks better.

Right, the left one looks too blurry. I do have to say that on Snes emulators Super SAI2x looks lovely on Yoshi's Island, it really complements the art style, but a simple blur won't do for me.

I really like the right better because everything is more sharp and clear. Its easy to see.

The one on the right looks like the perfect choice without doubt.

Filters can make some games really nice, though, in this one, it doesnt look sooo good at all.. The one on the left makes me feel that I have gone but a bit blind.. which is scary Tongue wink

Smoothing those kind of graphics are, definately, not my way. Smoothing 3D graphics is cool though.
