OK, we're going to try something a little different here. We are going to be hosting a bit torrent tracker (I'm sure most of you are aware of what that is). I've already installed the tracker software, but need to work out the settings in it before opening it up for registration. If you want access to it, you will need to register on it in order to download or upload torrents. Some things to take note of with this new feature:

1. All rules we have here in our forum carry over into the tracker. This means no uploading/requesting of illegal material. This includes copyrighted games, movies, music, software, etc....
2. We will allow uploads or requests for anything public domain (this includes music, videos, games, software, etc...) as long as the owner has given permission to redistribute it.
3. Game Demos (PC ONLY) will be allowed to be uploaded/requested.
4. Abandonware will be allowed to be uploaded/requested but you MUST submit a link to the offical site to show that it has been officially abandoned.
5. Software demos (no cracks, etc...) is allowed to be uploaded/requested, as long as it has not been requested by the owners to not redistribute.
6. We will have a ratio system, though there are no punishments for maintaining a certain ratio. It's just a guidance tool so you know how well you're sharing.
7. For those wondering, yes, anime uploads and requests will also be allowed, as they are legally redistributable.
   

We will be throughly inspecting all uploads and requests. If you are found to be in violation of these rules, you will be banned from the tracker, and a warning will be issued in these forums. Please use good judgement when using the tracker so we can keep it around. Any thoughts or input about this, feel free to comment here.
