I am 24
I enjoy training martial arts, I have a black belt in Kung fu San soo, I have also trained Jeet Kune Do, Kick boxing, and submission grappling for a little over five years now. I enjoy going out and having fun with friends, it can consist of anything from table top RPG's to clubbing. I have been into emulation since like 98 I believe. I think I jacked off the first time I was able to get the neo geo emulator up and running. First emulation site I joined was 1emulation, I was a rom/post whore back then.
I met plot in IRC and we hit it off right away. We still talk a lot and I consider him a good friend. I lurked this site for a few minutes and already liked what I seen, decided to join. I was staffed and am very proud to apart of the team. Hope this site does not die and forum activity increases.

Well, I've been around for a couple of months now and don't seem to be going away so I thought it was about time I introduced myself properly rather than just as 'Ref's sister'!
I was born in Honk Kong in 1975, so that makes me one of the oldies on this site! I grew up most of my life in Plymouth in England. My real name is Racheal and I am the older sister of that Emulation God 'refraction'... or as I know him, Al.
Spent most of my formative years at school being the 'smart kid' and a bit of a geek. Have always been into Science Fiction and Fantasy so watched a lot of Star Trek, Star Wars and Buffy and played a lot of IRL role playing games. At the age of 7 I fell into a coma and was found to be a Diabetic (type 1). Though this puts a few restrictions on my life I have never let it stop me doing what I want. As I got older I slotted comfortably into the role of class nerd/weirdo/square and began singing on stage in musicals. I also played the Tuba in the County band! Teachers loved me, but this made me unpopular with many kids and I became a bully target - never for long though as I wouldn't take it lying down. I managed to make it through school with relatively few mental scars and for one reason or another most ex class mates seem to remember me! I went on to Uni to get a joint honours degree in English and History and left having no idea what I wanted to do for a career. I was rather put out that I hadn't met Prince Charming with a massive bank account.... which was Plan A.
My computer experience over the years has been somewhat lacking really. Al and I used to play games together on my first computer the Oric back in the early 80's. Al was only very small but already by then he showed an affinity with machines. Still, I managed to kick his ass at Nintendo games and Pong. Alex became the family computer whizz and I became the telly/movie addict. I always did like to play Adventure/puzzle/intelligent games like Broken Sword and Monkey Island but other than that I kept away. Years later I dated an IT bloke who dragged me kicking and screaming into the 21st century and when he left behind his old computer I started bonding with this link to the rest of the world. I found it was a great machine to store all my music on and then I found MSN and I never looked back!
I was introduced to GE by Mr Plot. Despite Al being involved for many years we never really talked about 'techie stuff' as it tended to make me glaze over. That said, I met Plot through Alex in an MSN chat last summer. Though we did not speak again for months Plot and I never forgot one another. One day Plot randomly says 'hello' and the rest is history. I found the man for me and I was pulled into the world of emulation. Of course I've never played on an emulator yet and have no idea what people are talking about half the time. That said, I like to think I can be the voice of reason amongst the Admin staff and am a pretty calm and fair person. For a British woman I am pretty logical but I like to think I know when to joke too. I hope I add something to the community.
I like to see my Admin status like an honorary title and promise you gents I will stay out of disciplinary actions unless I feel I can add value with my opinion.

Thats pretty awesome that you were born in Hong Kong. How did that come about?
By the way people I only have internet access in my parents room right now, and that really blows. I will try to be on and post at least once a day to keep up with things. Hope everyone is doing well.

You look nice, Plot is lucky to have you as his lady.
Btw who is that guy in the back, looks like he's about to swallow his hand?
Also, is that red wine you are holding?
Why thank you Mr Xtreme. I think he is a lucky man too!!
The guy in the background is Satan. He comes to all parties with me as my rent-a-date.
That is certainly not red wine I'm holding. I am a proud irish whiskey drinker and that my friend is a whiskey and coke. Mmmmm, whiskey.

I was born in Hong Kong cos my Dad was in the navy and stationed out there for a few years. I was there long enough to enjoy the year of the rabbit and then my parents flew back to England. It is my dream to go over there one day soon. Maybe I could get Plot with his love of 'All Things Asian' to take me there?!! Then again, that might not be a good idea as he might run off with a local!!

Hmm, that is a nice dress and you've got really nice hair on that photo Hmm, whiskey is cool, but I myself have fallen in love with Irish cream (Bailey's and such)
