You have many options.
Wincustomize.com and Neowin.net have a lot of good stuff, but you may get lost among those bunches of applications to enhance your desktop. So, I recommend you to start with Konfabulator for neat desktop widgets and try IconPackager to change your system icons. Anyways, if you need any more help, or specific help, just PM me and I'll help ya.

I'm Downloading the free version of Windowblinds off of download.com right now, I'll post more screens of my desktop, after I get a few skins, off of that nice little site wincustomize.com, that miretank mentioned.

Also on wincustomize.com, I noticed there was a download limit of 20 megs, that seems like a real pain, cause they have alot of nice skins, and I don't really trust paying for subscriptions, or buying things over the net, because of scams, fraud, and credit card number theft, not to mention I don't even have a credit card, nor do I ever want one.

Really annoying, I just have shown that site to you 'cause I thought I would need to introduce you on some big deskmod communities. For neat skins, icons and general "weirdness", just pay a visit to DeviantArt. Things there are free at least.

Here's an Updated pic of my desktop, I'm not keeping this style, It causes problems with the textboxes on the forum, which make the textboxes black, instead of white, so I can't see the letters.

Nah, not a lot of games, I only have about 20 games for my PC, and about 5-10 games for my PS2, and about 3 or 4 for my PS1. I Plan on Buying more games for my PC, but I might have to build a new rig before I can buy newer games. I sooo want to buy and play F.E.A.R. , but can already see it now, I'll probably be playing F.E.A.R. at 1 frame per second on my current setup lol.

Anyhow, lets not get offtopic, after all this is the "Your Desktop" Thread
