Saving
Hey I'm darkshadow and I'm just here to ask why isnt my save files working. After I play any of my games using no$gba I save the game but when I reload the game I have to start the game all over. This happened with Zelda Phantom Hourglass, Pokemon Diamond, New Super Mario bros and more. How do I fix my problem? What am I doing wrong?

RE: Saving
Those games have different save types and you have to change the save types to match the certain games.
Check no$gba thread and search the screenshots to find the save type you are looking for.

Try experimenting by changing the NDS save type in the No$GBA emulation options until you find one that works with the game you are trying to play.
I don't know exactly which settings to use for those games so you will need to figure it out by experimenting with the different save types for NDS carts. It's a bit of a hassle to do and should take no more than a few minutes to find the correct save type.
Believe me, I wish the auto detect save type would get fixed as much as anyone so this extra hassle isn't needed. I suppose we'll hopefully see it in a future release of No$GBA.
Btw, Welcome to the forum. I suggest as I do with any new member is to give the board rules a read if you haven't already.
Cheers, X2DM.

RE: Saving
Because you have the wrong type and it wont save at all, that's why.
Which games ? You can't give us 10 games and we will give you different save types.. you have to figure it out.. Maybe 2 or 3 games and we will give you correct save type.

RE: Saving
Also you must manually reselect the save settings each time you start or restart the emulator. For some weird reason the settings don't save, at least for me they don't.

RE: Saving
You did something wrong. I am playing Zelda phantom hourglass right now. I am looking for Sun Key somewhere under the ocean.
So nothing's wrong with emulator. You did.
After you change to the correct savetype, click ok then did you click "RESET CARTRIDGE" ?
