Save File Transfer
i have Onimusha Blade Warriors...only bought it because it was a 4 player and to get one last character i need to have a saved file from onimusha 3 so i was wondering if i could use an emulator get the save file and transfer it to memory card
if it's possible how do i go around doing so? do i need a program on my flash drive that can trick the ps2 into thinking it's a memory card? or do i need some special hardware?

RE: Save File Transfer
Rennikz, I have a theory that might prove to work for you. I haven't tried it.
First navigate to http://www.generalemu.net/pcsx2archive click on "Guides" --> "Importing Game Saves to PCSX2."
Once there, follow steps 1-9.
Next, copy the folder from step 7 to a USB drive.
Plug the USB drive to the PS2 and insert the Action Replay CD...or similar...must have USB support).
Once Action Replay, or similar, is booted, navigate to the Memory Card manager, and copy the folder over to the PlayStation 2 Memeory Card. (It might be the same as step 22-36 [substituting "MISC:/" for "MASS:/"])
Hope this helps and works! Feel free to message me if you need further help!

RE: Save File Transfer
btw, Rennikz, were you trying to transfer a game save to your PS2 memory card or your PCSX2 memory card. if it was the pcsx2 memory card, shat's guide would be just great. if it was to transfer game save to your PS2 memory card, you will need a browser capable of detecting USB drives, like Codebreaker/Gameshark/similar. Heres another guide for you http://www.generalemu.net/forums/Useful-...l#pid12578

Sorry, that can't be done yet. You would have to wait until someone creates a working USB plugin.

RE: Save File Transfer
i fail to mention that i have a small version of the ps2 it's not chipped and it doesn't have a hard drive on it so would this LaunchELF CD still work? or do i need to chip the ps2
i think i saw a usb memory card....i could be wrong but man won't it be cool if someone was to create a plugin or something that all you have to do is install it on your flash drive and it tricks the ps2 into thinking it's a memory card....i was soo bum out when i order this nice usb headset to find out afterwards it's not compatible with the ps2
the next console i'm gonna own is either an xbox 360 or a wii
