RE: Playstation Controller Usb Adapter
but the stupid ass software that allows you to adjust the controls wont allow me to adjust the thumb pad or the analog stick!
What software is that?
And I think you can configure your controller on the emulator itself. Go to Config> Game Pad> choose the pad you want to configure > map the plugin with your controller buttons and don't forget to change the combo box to Digital/Analog (F5).

Dude, i did all that... and as for what kind of software, i have no idea it all depends on what comes with the emulator as a default i guess... hell i dont remember downloading any software for the controls...

RE: Playstation Controller Usb Adapter
Hmm, but is the ePSXe plugin controller recognizing your joystick?
You can also try Joy2Key, to map the keyboard/mouse to your joystick http://www.electracode.com/4/joy2key/Joy...ersion.htm
Thats the thing though! i can get the Box/X/Triangle/Circle buttons to work fine but i cant adjust the damn thumb pads or the Analog sticks! i go to click the Boxs to edit them and they just turn to "J2_RIGHT"...

RE: Playstation Controller Usb Adapter
Probably your joystick problem. Try check it in control panel to make sure it OK. Or maybe driver problem.

I checked it in the control panel and it says its ok...
No problems with a driver...
I think its just ePSXe...
Theres got to be a way to get around this...
Im trying to use this software thats meant for joysticks that MireTank suggested... not sure where to start with this thing...
eeeesh.....

RE: Playstation Controller Usb Adapter
Well I gotta say I can't use my analog sticks on ePSXe, but only the d-pad. I never cared about PSX emulation if not to play FF games or other RPGs and they, at they most, will not require the analogs.
Cloud9, did you read the page? It has a good setup walkthrough to make the s**t working... Select one joystick button (thats the hardest part: to know your button numeration. most of times the triangle button is the Button 1, you can check better on the "Game contrllers" option on the control panel (or smth like that, my windows is not english). Once you found what button you're dealing with, select a keyboard key that will correspond to the Button you're configuring on the joy2key. like this:
Button 1, is the triangle. Set Triangle button to the "V" key on the keyboard. Go to your epsxe pad config and set up the triangle button to the 'V' key. Now everytime you press the Button 1 in your keyboard, it will act like if you were pressing the V key directly in your keyboard!

RE: Playstation Controller Usb Adapter
Have you tried using a different emulator and a pad plugin, like PSXeven and Harakiri's plugin for example?
