A few months back, I started a thread on Sony's official forum asking Square-Enix to port Final Fantasy X to the PSP. In that time, it has actually generated ALOT of interest, and I dare say that the possibility to persuade Square to actually do this. If you want to help bring the most popular PS2 game of all time to the PSP, please sign our petition and help us have a voice to Square.

PS: petition didnt seem to have been publicized much if at all. I think a Digg would bump it through the roof, as many would love the idea. Unfortunately I'm not on Digg, so I cant submit the story

I was trying to get the link to the petition posted on the Sony forums, which oddly enough, they have their forums software set to autoblock linking to that online petition site. Seems odd to me considering they allow members to talk about pirating games and give links and instructions on how to downgrade and even Pandora's battery. I must say nothing they do makes sense to me on there.

Putting a link in the first post would make it more visible. 3rd page's link will get buried once there are replies.

First post edited, and even better, I've added a link to this thread in my signature on there. As long as the forums staff doesn't mind, this is one way to get the petition out there.

I signed it, even though I dont have a PSP, would love to see it, it it did hit the handheld I might consider getting one.

I don't know where the trend came from, but when I started that thread on the Sony forums, I figured if it drew enough attention, that I would try to do something to voice these people's opinions (as well as my own) to Square. Given the amount of positive feedback it's received in just under 3 months time is an indication that going a step further with it might be a good idea.

There are petition for FFX on PC before. Square never listened, I hope they listen to the customer this time

FFX would be da klIIer. The Lucca games were really fun. I would love if they fitted online-enabled versions of Blitzball and Sphere Break into it

Nope, I tried that, and apparently the forums software autoscript blocks that url as well.

Feel free to help spread the word. Post the concept and petition on any site you visit, create a digg article, etc... Anyone's help in getting the word around would be greatly appreciated. A one man effort will never get anywhere.
