Last time gamecop made a digg on nullDC, their server barely could handle it, 70.000 views for a screenshot thread, imagine Wink

I can't see this drawing the kind of attention as NullDC would to be honest though. Besides, the digg article should contain a direct link to the petition, as most people won't want to come to an emulation site to voice their opinion on a game request being made to Squaresoft.Tongue wink

Considered linkin the sony thread, but petition link there wasnt allowed so since only one link as a source was allowed, why not just link first post here that has a link to each? Hope you dont mind. Digger could help someday Wink

PS2 rpgs definitely rock. Given the already big satisfied fanbase, no way this wouldnt bring out the big bucks for Square-Enix. I myself never finished FFX due to a superscratched dvd that never allowed me to pass the latest bosses, so since I'm thinkin of getting a PSP this fall, this could come in handy Wink

the petition almost never happend. If you want it to port ffx to psp then you need over 3 thousand or something for them to go ahead but I think port ffx to psp is a waste time to my opinion.

Petition was made only just last night. I'm going to get word around of it though, see if I can't generate interest on this.

Don't get me wrong but I had been sign up the petition for few games of varies in years and they never released any games that we signed up. They do not care about petition. If they want it to release then they will ask us for the vote but they didn't, right ? You create the petition then the high rate for it will never happen again. Seriously. No

UPDATE:

it seems the thread at Sony's site was even deleted, since its nowhere to be found now. It seems petition-related threads are not really allowed there.

148 signatures for now. At least the buzz is spreading.

RE: Petition for Square to port FFX to PSP

Figures. They'll allow piracy discussions and talk of unauthorized PSP modding (including Pandoras Battery), but petition threads are a no no. Pretty lame if you ask me.

That does sound pretty retarded. Seems like they're running things backwards over there.

Agreed. Link at Digg is still up, but without enough Digg friends (who can get notified about friends' submitted news) who could bump it out of the sandbox, it failed to reach enough diggs to appear on the frontpage.

EDIT: shame, buzz slowed down. Stories need about 50 Diggs in a short timeframe to get on frontpage.
