Windows 95 : The first ever OS I used.. Was a cool one
Windows 98 : One of my favorite OS's of all time, simply coz I got quite familiar with the Interface.
Windows 98 Second Edition : like 98, just some add-ons which I cant remember
Windows 2000 : Never got to play much around this one, so cant say.
Windows 2003 Sever : I did Use this, for an Upgrade to the XP
Windows ME : Used Millenium till some point, Liked it to a certain extent
Windows XP Professional SP1/SP2 : The Best OS so far, Love the User Friendliness compared to its predecessors and still Using it.
Windows XP Home Edition : Dont really like it as much as Windows XP Pro..

I did use DOS, though I m not sure which versions..
I have never used a Beta OS in my life, simply coz I dont wish to go through the difficulty of downloading Windows Beta's. n I m not sure if they are even available like that..

Never Used any other OS other than the MS Windows Versions.. MAC/Linux isnt my thing.. though they seem to be much safer to use to browse the Internet.. May give them a try sometime

I'd Hopefully get a new comp and then use Windows Vista on it.. atm, my computer sucks so much that it hates the idea of running Vista..

I REALLY need to try Beryl. I've seen some themes they have made to it, they look so pretty.
Are the system requirements less 'expensive' than Vista?

Microsoft OSes:
MS DOS (6.x and maybe others):  I really miss these days of PC gaming.  Alit of great quality games were made for DOS.
Windows 3.1:  Unique, but nothing special to me.
Windows 95:  The days when PC gaming began to heat up.  DirectDraw/Direct3D and it's IDirect3DExecuteBuffer interface rocked.  My favourite game for Win95 is MDK. I still have a DirectX 3.0 SDK and I still use it to remember those days.
Windows 98/98SE:  The greatest MS OS and the greatest gaming era of all time.  So many great games, so many pleasnt gaming memories.  It's OSes like this that make me miss old days where DirectDraw games was still around.  I have a Win98SE PC to run my old PC games so I can sort of return to those old days.  My favourite Win98 game was Alien vs Predator.  So many unique features and gameplay modes.  The graphics engine was badly outdated (it used Direct3D 2.0 when 6.0 was out) because the devs were working on that game since the release of DirectX back in 1996 and I guess were too lazy to update it.
Windows ME:  This OS was a total pain to fix.  But when I fixed the IE 5.5 problem, it worked ok.
Windows 2k:  Just better plug and play support, nothing special.  Lost compatibility with some old games, grrrrr!
Windows XP:  Nothing really special to me.  It's just more user friendly, and also more annoying!  Good OS, but not very fond of most of it's games.  Same old same old....

Macintosh
Mac OS (unknown version)  I remember back in '89, we had nothing but macs in school.  I don't remember the version.  But I do remember some old games and the 5 inch floppies.  Fun times.  Anyone rember games like amazon trail and odell downunder?
Mac OS 9.2  I have a comp running this.  I need a better videocard so I can run Quake III on it

@Miretank: The system requirements for Beryl are far less demanding than those for Vista. You should be fine with anything better than a P3 with a relatively recent (post-2002) graphics card and around half a gig of RAM and it'll run pretty smoothly (except for a few operations). A newer graphics card won't make as much of a difference as you'd think because they've been mainly optimized for DirectX, not OpenGL.

As far as Vista's concerned, it's a resource-eating monster. Don't use it. Don't even think about installing it until SP2. :-)

(So far I've only used it on an Athlon 64 X2 4200+ with a Geforce 7900GT, which can easily handle Aero without breaking a sweat too.) Wobbly windows are awesome - I've spent several minutes at a time just moving windows for the heck of it. It's really fun to have a game or video running in a window and see just how well Beryl handles it when you move the window (very well). With the recent improvements to Wine (I was amazed how well it did with SWKOTOR - not perfect, but thoroughly playable), I'm starting to feel like I could leave Windows behind altogether.

When I finally get around to testing it on my older PC I'll let you know how it goes.

Yeah, unfortunately Vista is a resource hogger. But still I use it as my main OS and I have 512Mb of RAM only. Can't blame Vista in anything, I rarely get slowdowns. The only thing I have to say is the GPU driver support: nVidia is taking a dump over Vista users, couldn't get any decent video driver for my OS yet.
And, errrm, I don't run games here too. I leave it to XP. More stable you know?

Now that's nice. So Linux is even able to play some games? That's awesome! Shame on me, never paid attention to it's development. ;\
