New Power Supply Unit

The 750 Watt power supply that I ordered when I realized that my 8800GT needs more power which I temporary "fixed" by using a splitter and a cheap Chinese made PSU has arrived, rather than go into the details of the unit I think it's easier to just post a link to a review of the unit itself, I forgot to take pictures when I first took it out of the box until I installed it, these are pictures of it sitting in my PC.

This completes half of phase 3 of my plan to build a new PC by gradually replacing parts ahead of phase 2 which is to replace the CPU, motherboard and RAM, the other half of phase 3 is to replace the hard drives.

Stay tuned for when my CPU, Mobo and RAM arrives next week.

RE: New Power Supply Unit

Sounds about right.

I've got a Antec TruePower Trio 550w in mine, it 'technically' cost me £39 (they retail for £65).
(Sent it back twice, both times I got it upgraded, first time it wasn't even broken).
