New PC
Technically it's new since I replaced every part of my last PC except the DVD drive and case.
What I just received are:
One single WD 500GB Cavalier SATA 3.0 16MB cache Harddrive
Intel Pentium E6550 processor
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L P35 based Motherboard
2GB WINTEC AMPX 800Mhz DDR2 PC6400 RAM with 4-4-4-12 timing on that thing
I am giving my twin 300GB hard drives to my brother to use as a RAID 0 array since my Motherboard only has one IDE channel.
And my PC is now officially version 4.0 and the fifth one that I built.

RE: New PC
It costs me a little under $450, as for pics, without opening the case you can't even tell that it's any different than yesterday since the only thing I hadn't changed is the case.
Edit: Forgot to mention that the OS is an old copy of Windows XP pro x64 since the other copy of XP is still tied to my motherboard and I don't feel like calling Bangladesh to deactivate it vs just waiting for about half a month.

RE: New PC
I don't really plan to use Linux on this PC as I am going to use it mostly for gaming.
edit: Here's a CPU-Z shot

RE: New PC
From what I hear it's a pretty strong overclocker, I am using the stock heatsink and while it's nice and cool right now it gets up to 37C in the summer and I don't want to fry my processor yet.

RE: New PC
How does it go on a full load? You could pump that up to 2.8Ghz without worrying about your temps (default volts ,etc).
