RE: Linux question

There are some emulators that works natively in Linux or is even included in some distros (reading from the ubuntu package list) like ZSNES, GFCE, DSEMU, FCE, VBA Express, and gsnes9x.

RE: Linux question

Those present in repositories are not very numerous (many of these being only frontends to the actual thing)

If some emulators don't have Linux versions, WINE can also run windows-based ones, so you're not losing anything.

RE: Linux question

The reason I want Linux is because of iDeaS developer is focus on LINUX verion and no more for windows.

Reading from the ubuntu package list ?? How do I find one to look at the lists of emulators, please ? Any links? Thanks.

RE: Linux question

counting on the official repositories is generally not the best idea. Just grab linux packages from official pages, everything is generally selfcontained (unless otherwise mentioned. the proprietary drivers for ATI and Nvidia generally are indispensable for a much more pleasant gaming experience)
