How do i manually use a proxy server?

Hey guys... i'm working on a nice little Internet browser in Vb... using the IE control ofcourse... i need to find a way to make the browser use a proxy server by default as long as the program runs.... i've got some idea as to where to change things... i see some proxy stuff in hkeycurrentuser\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\internetsettings .. there're two things that say Proxyenabled ( having a value of 0 or 1) and Proxysever ( having a default value of "Proxyserver")...

I'd be reallllllyyyyyyyyy Grateful if someone could help get this right... Big Grin a few working proxies would be so very cool too Grin

What i'd suggest is to enter a proxy server address into IE, then search Regedit for the IP you entered. Then you'll know what key it's in.

If you're not sure where in IE6 that is, Tools, Internet Options, Connection, LAN settings. You can see a Proxy Server section there.
