Getting NDS games to work in No$gba - patching games.

If you have used No$gba the chances are you have gotten the 'The rom-image has crashed'. Why? Its because games need to be patched in order to play them in No$gba, dont worry its alot easier then you might think.

Step 1
Download the attachment from this topic.

Step 2
Open dslazy.exe and select the game you wish to patch. Click the ndspatch button, save the patched game to the directory you want it in.

NOTE: Patched games dont work in other emulators, so make sure you dont save over the original

Step 3
Run the patched NDS game in No$gba, enjoy.

Use eNDryptS to patch the roms instead.

eNDryptS Advanced is the best one, why ? It can encrypted and decrypted so you do not worry about encrypted only like ndstool. You do not need to go to command line to do that. It can be done in windows! Grin

RE: Getting NDS games to work in No$gba - patching games.

When would you need to patch games? I have Yu-Gi-Oh GX: Spirit Caller and it worked no problem. Would I have to patch it for other games perhaps or is this patching issue resolved in 2.5?

RE: Getting NDS games to work in No$gba - patching games.

Welcome back Wink

I believe it's not necessary to patch it since 2.4 (as said here, it's possible to play decrypted roms without problems, as long as you set it to "Start cartridge directly")
Rockmanforte should have a more insightful answer. All these changelogs can sometimes turn somewhat confusing Wink
