But seeing that a lot of people like the idea, I guess it's time for us to settle a game that we'll play.

Yeah I figured everybody and his brother had FF7. But Chrono Trigger sounds good too. Count me in for both, unless they tie (in which case I'd vote CT since it's been a while).

I thought also about Zelda Master Quest. Never played it so far, and I'd like to. what about you guys?

my fav game is QUAKE 3 i spend the most time with that game, i had a clan, i was a clan leader for 3 years and i used to play in tournaments.   I still play that game and change source code in my free time adding some improvements to the game like HDTV resolutions etc.

I did not choose FF7 or any other other FF game because i'am scared of spending over 100 hours with those games again.
i finished FF7 over 10 times, my fastest time was less then 12 hours of play longest over 180 hours of play, few times i fall asleep with the game still running on and with joypad in my hand
FF8 about 4 times, once in japanese version, without knowing even a single word in this language !!! I spend a lot of time with SEED test FF9 and FFX once,
FF XI scared me with the huge requirement of time needed to achive goals in game, but most of the people were friendly, nice and they have a will to help
I know now that iam addicted to  play FF games, so i try to avoid it

If im not mistaken, thats for the Gamecube, which everybody might not have (ie me ). Any other suggestions? So far I only see CT, or FF6 that no one said no to (at least the ones that are PBEM (play by email)

I have all FF's but the rest of the PSX games are you know, given away to friends and family .. So PS2, PC, or SOME ROMS would be good

Nah,Master Quest is for N64.
