Looks nice as well, but its the font that gives that feel. The first one had nicer colors

Thanks RealOne Smile Well, it's rather easy to make different colour variants out of it, so it's quite flexible, I used grey for the concept only, it may remain but it doesn't have to Wink.

well yea. the font is attractive and grey makes it look good.. if its variable, then we could possibly make 1 for each forum theme. but hey, its plot and schats call Smile

I may scale the size down and try it out. I'd like to keep it as close to the original banner's resolution as possible.Tongue wink

635x150? There you go Wink I made it transparent as well.

Unless you find it too simple and would like it to be more fancy, just let me know Wink

Noone uses 640x480 anymore (less than 1% of inet users), not even the noobest folks or by mistake. Taking 800x600 into account as a minimum desktop width instead would be nicer, and leave room for logo beautification. Regardless of that consideration, the 640-compatible logo you have here looks very nice. Gets my thumb up.

Some numbers, just for knowledge's sake. Is visitors' desktop resolution tracked here, btw?
1024x768 - 51%
1280x1024 - 19% (lcd people certainly)
800x600 - 10%
640x480 - 1% (funnily enough, I imagined 0 Eek)

Looks good. I'm going to go ahead and put this up and await reactions, though I'm sure there won't be any complaints. Fancy isn't always better and I think this one serves the purpose rather well.Tongue wink

Hah, cheers plot, glad you like it.

How about using a circle instead of a square? Does it look better? I changed the upper font as well as this looks better IMO.
