Cannot Log out
I guess it doesn't matter that much- but the forum must really want to keep me around since... it isn't letting me log out.
Everytime I try to press Log Out at the top I keep getting this message:
Your user ID could not be verified to log you out. This may have been because a malicious Javascript was attempting to log you out automatically. If you intended to logout, please click the Logout button at the top menu.
I have tried clicking the log out button several times after seeing this message and it won't let me go!

one question, why would you need to log out? 
just close your windows, then delete your cookie file for GE, thatll log you out if you really need to

Yeah, I suppose- it just seems like a strange bug. 
Logging out is part of my normal routine with this site and I have always done it before closing the webpage and browsing else where.

Well, I always used to use it and I have never had this problem before.
I'm guessing that Plot just wants more permanent membership!

I'll have to ask the guys at MyBB about this. Probably something to do with the update we just did here today that brought on this new bug.

OK, I've run a script that fixed some of the templates. You may need to delete cookies for the site, but after that, you will be able to log in and out as normal.

OK, I've run a script that fixed some of the templates. You may need to delete cookies for the site, but after that, you will be able to log in and out as normal.
After deleting the former cookie, logging in and out works fine now. Logging in could still use some TLS encryption (for logging from public computers), or a predefined cookie expiration period (like 1 hour, 3 hours, 1 day, forever...), but I guess this one's a subject for another thread.
Logging out fixed, then.
EDIT: with a newly recreated cookie, it shows as if I'm not logged in when I skim to GeneralEmu.net 's newspage. Of course, my avatar doesnt show either. It seems something was broken here, cuz returning to the forum section shows I indeed am and still was logged in.

Quickie bump, instead of a new thread on the same thing. Logging out (in the MyVB theme) seems to not proceed as expectable (works in the GE dark theme, though I still slightly prefer the vB one, for mysterious reasons)...
