RE: An over Clocked Problem!

Depends on how you overclocked. If you set up the clocks through the BIOS, you may have to go back and check them and reset them. If you overclocked using an app in Windows, then obviously the overclock wouldn't be loaded anymore since the app would have been lost in the format.

As plot said, if the machine was either over clocked too high, or there was a setting that the machine didn't like, it is very possible the bios might have reset itself back to default settings, sort of as a protection against harm to the motherboard.

Definatly go in and relook at the settings and then check what speed it is posting at. If your settings are set right in the bios, but you are still getting a different speed on post or in windows, then it is likely that your bios is defaulting back each bootup.

Umm just wondering did you overclock your pc, close the program and then start it up again? When i do that easy tune 5 detects my original clock as the over clocked versionWink
